Will You be Inside or Outside the Wall?

The Apostle John’s God-given vision of the prophesied New Jerusalem describes a huge city twelve thousand furlongs square. That’s approximately 1500 miles.
“And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.” (Revelation 21:16)
This huge city is surrounded by a magnificent wall 144 cubits high, which is about 216 feet.
“And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.” (Revelation 21:17)
God designed this city as the eternal home of those who ask Him for deliverance from sin.
“And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.” (Revelation 21:24)
However, the city’s wall stands against all that would bring corruption into this magnificent place.
“And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.” (Revelation 21:27)
Banishment, of that which “defileth,” began in Eden when Adam and Eve heeded Satan’s temptation to disobey God. As God had warned, they died spiritually that day. As a result of their disobedience, all humans are born spiritually dead. God also placed Cherubims in the way to prevent the “defiled” from re-entering the garden. Eventually, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to save His people from their sins (see Matthew 1:21). Jesus is God, the Son, who died and rose again to pay sin’s death penalty for them. Those in whom God restores spiritual life are those who come in faith asking His forgiveness. They will enjoy the New Jerusalem.
However, separation between saved people and lost people is eternal.
“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (John 3:36)
Will you trust Christ and be inside the wall, or will you be eternally banished to darkness, and God’s wrath?
