Jesus said, “For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit” (Luke 6:43). Jesus wasn’t just talking about trees. If you read His statement in context, you will find that it speaks of spiritual issues which proceed from the heart of man.
Charles Darwin was a man who promoted a corrupt philosophical tree. Most people don’t know that the full title of his work, “The Origin of the Species,” was actually, “On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favored Races in the Struggle for Life.” Although in this work, his treatment of races focuses more on animal races than human races, it becomes clear, in his subsequent work entitled “The Descent of Man…,” that Darwin considered what he referred to as “man in a more civilised state” to be superior to what he referred to as either the “negro or Australian” races. In this statement regarding these human races, Darwin expressed the expectation, and even the hope that, “…the civilised races of man will almost certainly exterminate, and replace, the savage races throughout the world.” Verify this yourself. It is readily available from multiple credible sources, both in libraries and on the Internet.
While the secular scientific community has wildly embraced this Godless Darwinian theory, they have conveniently ignored that the tree from which this theory springs is a corrupt tree of blatant racism. There is much evidence that Darwin’s theories were ultimately used to justify Hitler’s wicked Jewish holocaust.
Contrary to Darwin’s corrupt theory, God’s true Word says, “Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers” (Malachi 2:10)? God reiterates this thought in Acts 17:26 where it says, He “… hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth…” (Acts 17:26).
What are the implications of Darwin’s theory as contrasted with God’s truth? God declares that murder is sin. Darwin’s theory, however, eliminates the recognition of God and hence eliminates the idea of sin against Him. By assuming away sin, racial annihilation simply becomes a legitimate means of the “preservation of favored races.” Hence Hitler! How wicked!
Remember: God tells us that bad fruit comes from a bad tree. Good fruit comes from a good tree. Will your world view be controlled by Darwin’s corrupt tree of evolutionary philosophy, or will you follow the good tree of God’s Word, acknowledge Him as your creator, and repent of your sin? In Acts 17:30, God says, “…the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.”
Call upon the Lord Jesus Christ for redemption, mercy, and forgiveness of sin based on His sacrificial death at Calvary.
