PASSPORT TO THE ECONOMY

Will You Succumb to the Passport?

The last book of the Bible describes a beast.

“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.” (Revelation 13:11)

Notice the “horns of a lamb” which might deceive people into thinking this beast represents Christ, the Lamb of God.  Observe, however, that this beast “spake as a dragon.”  This would indicate a satanic origin.  In fact, the very nature of this beast is deceptive.

“And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do…” (Revelation 13:13-14)

The narrative continues, showing that this beast marks his people with a mark in their right hands or foreheads.

“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:  And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”        (Revelation 13:16-17)

Apparently, this mark shall serve as a passport to the economy.  I don’t know God’s perfect timetable for these final events.  However, I do wonder if current events may be preparing people’s minds to submit to such a passport mark.  Currently, some leaders are establishing submission to certain recommendations as a passport to segments of the economy.  Those who refuse are being denied access to portions of the economy.  Ultimately, when the beast establishes his passport mark, those who succumb shall reap the following alarming consequences.

“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,  The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:  And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” (Revelation 14:9-11)

Are you being conditioned to eventually receive the beast’s deadly mark?  Without Christ, you will succumb.  However, there is a far better alternative.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
