Is your church a good nursery church?

Baby nurseries cannot make babies alive. They only take care of babies that are already alive. Similarly, no church can impart spiritual life into a dead soul. They can only nourish folks who have been made alive by the Lord Himself.
There are other similarities between baby nurseries and churches. Both have care recipients and care providers. Some nurseries are very good at what they do. They conscientiously provide good nutrition and careful oversight to support survival and healthy growth. Likewise, some churches conscientiously provide good spiritual nutrition and careful oversight by teaching the clear and Holy Word of God. Sadly, however, many churches are more like spiritual abortion clinics where death reigns supreme.
If you are a church participant, does your church claim to have authority to dispense salvation, absolution, and eternal life if you are a member in good standing? If so, flee from that church. It is a false church teaching lies. Find a nursery church that teaches God’s unadulterated Word. It must teach salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. He sacrificed His blood at Calvary for the sins of His people. Listen to what scripture says.
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).
Through His apostle Paul He said,
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:8-10).
The clear testimony of Scripture is that the only source of eternal life is God Himself. We cannot earn it, even by producing faith within ourselves. Scripture says,
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17).
Only God can cause you to hear His Holy Word taught faithfully and, through it, regenerate your dead spirit with life. Only then, will you begin to understand the hideous magnitude of your sin and be moved to repent of it. Only then, will you call out to Jesus Christ, the sacrificial Lamb of God, to save you and give you eternal life.
