WHERE DID IT COME FROM?

I have three pictures I show when speaking about God’s creation. The first is of Stonehenge. Stonehenge is a famous circular arrangement of huge rocks in Wiltshire, UK. Where did it come from? Scientists, worldwide, agree that it was constructed by an unknown civilization in approximately 3100 BC. If they don’t know who built it, how do they know it didn’t come about by random rock movements during cataclysmic events through the ages? They know because its level of organization proves intelligent design.

My second picture is of an automobile stuck in desert sands. During a guided dune-buggy ride, we once came across an automobile stuck on the side of a mountainous dune. Where did it come from? No one seemed to know, but everyone knew that it had not materialized through the random motion of blowing sand. How did they know? They knew because its level of organization, which far exceeds that of Stonehenge, proves intelligent design.

My third picture is of a young lady standing in the desert. Her complexity far exceeds that of both Stonehenge and the stranded automobile. Where did she come from? Shouldn’t the complexity test applied to both Stonehenge and the stranded automobile apply equally to the young lady? Unfortunately, many “scientists” abandon objectivity, at this point, due to man’s inability to be the designer. To embrace intelligent design of humanity would require belief in God. Thus, statistical tests used to evaluate the origin of both Stonehenge and the automobile, are tossed aside. Intelligent design is rejected and replaced by the illogical and statistically untenable conclusion that humanity is the product of random evolutionary processes. Does this makes sense?

Belief in evolution reflects man’s fallen nature. To reject God’s authority, man must reject God as Creator. The Bible explains: “For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old,…(2 Peter 3:5).” By this eternally devastating choice, many reject forgiveness that God, the Creator, offers fallen humanity through the blood sacrifice and resurrection of God the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. It is “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear (Hebrews 11:3).”

Will you reject God’s authority, or will you cry to Him for forgiveness?
