Hi! My name is Tom. I have recently started building this website. My wife, Kathy, and I have known each other for as long as either of us can remember. When my Mom was giving birth to me, her Mom visited my Mom in the hospital. Six and a half weeks later my Mom visited her Mom in the hospital when she was born. Our families lived just a few city blocks from each other. Though we both attended the same elementary school, high school, and chapel fellowship, we never paid much attention to each other until our late teens.

At the chapel, we learned the wonderful things that God has revealed to us in His Word, the Bible. This has become the central foundation of our lives and, especially, our marriage. We are so thankful to the Lord for being the ultimate source of authority and love which binds us together before him. We are now (as of early 2016) in the forty-seventhth year of our marriage with which God has blessed us. We also give thanks to God for the fact that each of our five living children is still married to his or her first spouse. Our last child was born with serious congenital difficulties and died in infancy. Through God’s blessing upon our children, we currently have twenty-eight living grand children.

When I was a young child, my Mom and Dad observed the rapid spirtitual decline in the world around them. They occassionaly expressed deep concern regarding the world in which we would be raising our children. However, I don’t think they ever anticipated quite how quickly the world’s spiritual decline would accelerate. Even the technology, with which God has blessed us, has been taken, by fallen man, and utilized for wickedness.

As we have observed the blessings of the Lord in our lives and the misery with which spiritual decline has enslaved so many, we have come to realize that the Lord, Himself, is the world’s only hope. While some place their hopes in politics, we have come to understand that it is not politics, but righteousness that exalteth a nation.

“Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34)

Righteousness exalts a nation one person at a time. We do not place much confidence in our own ability to pursuade the masses. However, we do know that the righteousness man needs, comes from faith in God which only God, Himself, can provide. The means by which He breathes faith into a human heart is through His Word.

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17)

God’s Word, the Bible, proclaims that Jesus Christ is the living Word of God.  He is God the Son.  He has always been.  All things were created by Him.  At the appointed time, He came to be born of a virgin in order to sacrifice His own blood to save His people from their sins.  He is the only one that could accomplish this great miracle!

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”  (John 1:1-3)

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.”  (Matthew 1:21)

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”  (John 14:6)

It is with this understanding that we have opened this website. We may only reach one person. If it is God’s will, He will take this effort (for which He, Himself, has provided the strength) and touch hearts all over the world. It is our desire that, through this effort, God will place His Word within reach of the entire world. After all, it is through His Word that He breathes life, faith, and righteousness into the human heart. We are, therefore, spreading these “Light Drops” as a farmer spreads his seed. Our trust is in God who is the only one who can spread it far and wide and give the increase to produce His intended results.

We are newcomers to website development and have just recently begun this endeavor. Please be patient with us. In the mean time please enjoy the “Light Drops” into which much love, prayer, and time have been poured. May the Lord, Himself, bless you as you browse this website.
