Will you live happily ever after?

Do you want to live happily ever after?  Jesus told His disciples,

“… strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Matthew 7:14).

Jesus told them that one day he would separate all of humanity into two groups.  Saved people, whom He called sheep, He will set on His right hand side.

“Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world” (Matthew 25:34).

These sheep will live happily ever after, but first, many will be persecuted for following Christ.  The disciple Stephen is a vivid example.  About to be stoned to death for his faith, he saw something wonderful.

“But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, …” (Acts 7:55).

As he was dying, he looked up to Jesus, who awaited him, and said,

“Lord Jesus, receive my spirit” (Acts 7:59).

Stephen will live happily ever after with Christ.

God showed the apostle John a revelation of future things.  John reported,

“… I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: … And white robes were given unto every one of them…” (Revelation 6:9-11).

These martyrs will live happily ever after with Christ.

Nicodemus wanted to live happily ever after.  He went to Jesus by night to discuss his concern.  Jesus told him that he must be reborn by God’s Holy Spirit.

“Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” (John 3:5).

God the Son, Jesus Christ, died and rose again to save His people from their sins.  He now offers a wonderful invitation.

“And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely” (Revelation 22:17).

Has God’s Holy Spirit drawn you to come to Christ and live happily ever after with Him?
