Is Time Running Out for You as We’re Dashing Through Our Lives?

 “Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.  Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.  For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.  Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.  Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.”  (Psalm 139:2-6)

Dashing through our lives

with our minds fixed on our wealth,

o’er our stuff we fret.

Time passes with stealth.

Life is passing fast,

making healthcare soar.

Each sand of time that passes by

says “time shall be no more.”

 

God hears all.  God sees all.

He knows what we are.

He knows all we’re thinking of

while in church or in a car.

A little while ago

I started living life.

I sought a constant friend,

and married my dear wife.

Now we’re growing old.

Our energy’s getting less.

But even as our bodies age,

our Savior still does bless.

A long long time ago

my Savior died for me.

He paid the price I couldn’t,

to set my lost soul free.

He is the only way

for sins to be forgiven.

Trust Him and you shall be saved

to join your Lord in Heaven.
