TRUMP: What Will its Sound Mean to You?

Our world’s history has been full of political victories and defeats throughout the ages. Many folks, today, are interested in current political machinations which have very serious, yet, temporary ramifications.
Instead, I would like to focus on a trump which ushers in eternal consequences. It is described in the following Bible passage.
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump [trumpet] of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18)
From the very onset of God’s ordained course of history, there has been a constant distinction between light and darkness (Genesis 1:3-4), good and evil (Genesis 2:9), and life and death (Genesis 2:17).
God has been moving all of history toward the culmination of His final victory in all things. God’s redeemed people shall enter their eternal blessing in the delightful light of His presence. They have been made righteous by Christ’s blood through faith in His sacrificial death, burial and resurrection. Each of them has been stirred to call out to Him for deliverance from sin and death. God’s great victory shall eternally demonstrate His great and eternal glory.
“For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.” (Romans 11:36)
However, all who have rejected or ignored Christ shall be forevermore denied access to His presence. Christ shall say to them,
“… Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:” (Matthew 25:41)
Notice that this destiny, also, shall be eternal. Jesus repeatedly described the destiny of the unredeemed to be horrible. It is a place,
“Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.” (Mark 9:44, 46, 48)
Some have chosen suicide to escape horrible decaying forces [worms] of this world. Yet, we find such evils do not disappear in eternity. How horrible!
It is also a place of eternal outer darkness.
“Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Matthew 22:13)
Are you concerned about your final destiny which God’s trump of victory shall usher in? Jesus is now welcoming all, who are so burdened, to come to Him.
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 22:13)
