Do You Reject Christ, or the Behaviors He Forbids?

Many today are tolerating, embracing, and even militantly promoting “alternate lifestyles” previously considered perverse. Political correctness now penalizes those who dare to object.
However, when God created man, he established well defined limits on intimate relationships between people. Consider the following sample of those limits specified in God’s Holy Word, the Bible.
“Thou shalt not commit adultery.” (Exodus 20:14)
“Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.” (Leviticus 18:22)
In the apostle Paul’s letter to the Roman Christians, he presents an alarming fact. Those who disregard these clear commands, may find that God gives them over to even greater perversions.
“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:” (Romans 1:26)
Because these limits come from God the Creator, Christians cannot embrace a lifestyle which violates them. This is because Christians love the Lord Jesus Christ who originated these prohibitions.
God the Son, Jesus, the Messiah, said:
“If ye love me, keep my commandments.” (John 14:15)
The apostle Paul declared that those who don’t love Christ, are under a curse. He used the Greek word “anathema,” which means “cursed”.
“If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.” (1 Corinthians 16:22)
The Greek word, “Maranatha,” means, “The Lord will come.” It emphasizes the fact that, apart from repentance, this curse is certain and inescapable.
Christians, some of whom previously engaged in such behaviors, understand the horrible consequences that transgressors bring upon themselves. Christians know that those who do so are actually turning their backs on God’s authority and offered forgiveness. Christians fear for the souls of those who don’t know the Savior. In addition to their own eternal danger, those who promote such perversions are also causing many others to follow their deadly footsteps toward eternal perdition.
Christ died and rose again to save sinners. Are you thirsty for His forgiveness? Consider His invitation.
“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.” (Isaiah 55:1)
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)
Have you come?
